I’ve got my new machine up and running! It took about four hours of faffing and plugging and connecting and installing and rebooting and… and… And here I am.
It’s wonderfully fast; not to boast about it, but I now have 512 meg of ram and an AMD 1.1Ghz processor. And the new video display is georgeous – I can now resize the screen font display to a comfortable size. I don’t have to squint at the monitor any more!
I shall now get on with enjoying my new toy.
